Our Founder

Sandra J. Christmas, serving in various areas of ministry since 1981, is a graduate of Regent University with Master of Arts degrees in Human Services Counseling and Practical Theology. A licensed minister of New Life Providence Church, she volunteers to assist the chaplain with ministry to the women in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center. Since 2004, she has served as the assistant director of the Life Enrichment Center of Norfolk whose mission is to provide a life-giving environment for individuals transitioning from one life phase to another through instruction, support, and encouragement in mental, social and spiritual development. As a Transformational Leadership Life Coach, Sandra facilitates workshops whose goal is to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. In August 2005, she established EWES Ministries, Inc. whose mission is to equip women for excellent and effective service in their diverse roles through education, support, and encouragement.

She says, “Whether it is through preaching, teaching, coaching, counseling, or mentoring, my mission is "to equip one to equip another." I want to see all women - the saved, the lost, the broken, the bound, and the free - enriched and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit as they integrate the Word of God into their everyday lives and pass their experiences, wisdom, and knowledge on to others. I love God and desire to be used by Him in whatever capacity He chooses for me. ‘For I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do’” (Ephesians 2:10).

Sandra has been married since December 1979 to Alton J. Christmas, a technology education teacher. They have one son, four daughters, and eleven grandchildren.
